Article Marketing For Businesses From Home:
Author BoxCopyright Francina Smit
http://www.InHouseDollars.com The article resource box is a vital part of every article and article marketers are losing out every second because they did not properly do their bio box and article set up. An Author Box or Bio Box or Signature box is one of the most important marketing tools for Businesses From Home. This box, that is displayed beneath your article, is
extremely important for affiliate marketing or any website owner to improve Search Engine rankings for your article and your website, because of all the back links created back to your site or sales page.
Not only will your rankings benefit from this but if you write interesting articles with good content that is grammatically correct, the reader will probably want to know more about you and click on the link you provided in the Author Box. More articles, more clicks, more money for Businesses From Home.
Make sure the links are related to the article content. Do not link to your dog kennel website in an author resource box attached to an article about the health benefits of a day spa.
It will even be better if the links come from high-ranking websites. Good article directories have great traffic and strong Google page rank, so publishing information there
increases the chance that people will see and read what you have to say, probably follow the link and increase sales for Businesses from home. You can even include some links in the body of your article but some directories do not allow this. Check the different Article Directories for their Submission Guidelines to make sure what they accept. Many of the top directories accept as many as 3 links and Html. too.
Author box/ Signature guidelines: 1. Your
full name must be the first item in your Resource Box (and your title if applicable).
2.
You can write a sentence or two about yourself. Keep it short. You just want to introduce yourself and start building a relationship with possible buyers.
3. Use your
target keyword in the resource box. This is extremely important but a signature box stuffed with too many keywords/links is counter-productive.
4. Your marketing pitch or unique selling proposition. Personally I feel this is optional. This is after all an article providing needed information and not a sales letter.
Rather include the link to your sales letter and give them the choice to follow it. 5. Your website address with a
valid URL (make sure it is a live link).
6.
A call to action. It is a great idea to use your bio box to give away a free report, book or newsletter.
A good bio box can be the difference between making sales or not, getting high SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) or not, and gaining reader appreciation or not. You will be getting the name of your Business from home out there, providing value in the article, establishing your credibility and name, getting a one-way link for it from your author bio box and finally, you can get some additional free traffic from your article if readers click on the link to your website. Many article directories also have URL click counts that allow you to see how many people are clicking the URL in your resource box.
Too often you see people whom have spent a considerable amount of time writing a great article, only to be let down by a badly written, incomplete or confusing bio box. By submitting articles to article banks, you are implicitly allowing webmasters from all over the web to
republish your article in their own websites or newsletters, provided that your bio box is kept undisturbed.
